Brian Hoyer gets back on field, approaching season as if he's starter

Brian Hoyer was back on newborn field with his Cleveland Browns teammates Tuesday for the 1st duration since he tore a tough knee ligament within October.

Hoyer was finite among what he could do and did never take part within team drills, merely his attitude toward an infant highest vexing position on toddler Browns was clear.

"Until someone tells me otherwise," he said, "I feel prefer I'm newborn starter for this team."

Hoyer ache his knee in his third start for the Browns,a nasty Thursday night win over Buffalo. He had won his 1st two starts, and seemed to be grabbing clutch of a baby starting job.

But he rankle his knee when he slid and was beat by Kiko Alonso. Surgery followed two weeks later.

Some six months later, Hoyer was active and assertive aboard infant field, clearly acting like he belonged as an infant team's starter.
